The 2008 Development Conference & Exhibition will be held at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan the weekend of September 26 - 28, 2008. The Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort offers luxurious rooms, indulgent dining, thrilling games and Superstar entertainment. 

The guest speaker for this year’s event is CHUCK WILSON. Charles (Chuck) Wilson is Managing Principal of Banking Industry Group, Inc., a company providing on-site consulting services in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management and High Performance Banking issues.

Chuck recently served as Executive Vice President, Middleburg Financial Corporation, responsible for Consumer Banking and Marketing. He has also been employed with IBM Global Services as Principal, North America Bank Consulting Practice with responsibilities for providing an array of consulting services with Community Banking and Credit Union initiatives to community banks under $5 Billion in assets in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Before joining IBM Global Services, Chuck was a Senior Relationship Manager for Sheshunoff Management Services, where he served as a facilitator in the Affiliation Program and provided consulting services to community banks across the country. Chuck was Executive Vice President and Director of the Strategic Resources Group of a multi-bank holding company with community banks in Georgia, Florida and Tennessee.

Chuck has more than twenty-five years of hands-on community banking experience. Chuck holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Management from Mercer University, a graduate degree in Organizational Development from the University of Louisville, and a Professional Masters in Banking from Louisiana State University.
